Welcome to ZeroProof. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ZeroProof. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You are not prohibited by law from using our services
• You have not been previously banned from ZeroProof

2. Account Registration

To use ZeroProof, you must:

• Provide accurate and truthful information, including your real name and date of birth
• Maintain only one account
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Promote substance use: Encourage or promote alcohol, drugs, or other substances that undermine sobriety
• Harass or abuse: Engage in harassment, bullying, stalking, or abusive behavior toward other users
• Create fake profiles: Impersonate others or create fraudulent accounts
• Share inappropriate content: Post sexually explicit, violent, or hateful content
• Spam or solicit: Use ZeroProof for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation without permission
• Violate laws: Engage in any illegal activity through our platform

4. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of all photos, messages, and content you upload to ZeroProof. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving our services.

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you share. Do not post content that:

• Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains personal information of others without consent
• Is defamatory, misleading, or fraudulent

5. Messaging Preferences

ZeroProof allows users to choose their own messaging preferences. In your Settings, you can select whether you prefer to message first, have your match message first, or have no preference. This user-choice model creates a flexible, respectful dating environment where everyone can set boundaries that work for them.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Free Tier: ZeroProof offers a free tier with limited features (25 daily swipes).

Paid Subscriptions: We offer paid plans (Plus $9.99/month, Gold $19.99/month) that provide enhanced features like unlimited swipes, advanced filters, and profile visibility boosts.

In-App Purchases: Additional features (Boosts, SuperSwipes, virtual gifts) can be purchased separately.

Billing: Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled. You may cancel anytime through your account settings. No refunds for partial months.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment information.

7. Account Termination

Your Right: You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

Our Right: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior
• Receive multiple user reports for harassment or misconduct
• Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the platform

Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

User Interactions: ZeroProof is a platform to facilitate connections. We are not responsible for:

• The conduct of users on or off the platform
• Interactions, dates, or meetups between users
• Accuracy of user profiles or statements
• Any harm, injury, or loss resulting from interactions with other users

Safety Precautions: Always meet in public places, inform friends/family of your plans, and trust your instincts. Use our safety features (block, report) if you feel unsafe.

No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that you will find a match, relationship, or specific outcome from using ZeroProof.

9. AI Content Moderation

ZeroProof uses OpenAI-powered AI moderation to detect and prevent harmful content, including:

• Substance promotion or relapse triggers
• Harassment, hate speech, and sexually explicit content
• Spam and fraudulent activity

Flagged content may result in warnings, content removal, or account suspension. AI moderation is not perfect—you may appeal moderation decisions by contacting support.

10. Photo Verification

ZeroProof offers optional photo verification using OpenAI's Vision API. By submitting a verification selfie, you consent to:

• Your selfie being compared to your profile photo for identity verification
• Temporary processing of your image by OpenAI (not stored long-term)

Verified profiles receive a badge to increase trust and authenticity.

11. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: If you have a dispute, please contact us at zeroproofdating@yahoo.com first. We'll work with you to resolve issues informally.

Binding Arbitration: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree that disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action lawsuit.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use of ZeroProof after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with U.S. federal and state law.
